Year 4 Debates Anglo-Saxon Law and Punishment
Children in year 4 learnt about the laws and the punishments during the Anglo-Saxon times. There were vigorous discussions in both classes about what was fair and just. They learnt specific vocabulary and further understanding of words during these lessons. Arguments were heard from both sides, one supporting the idea that committing a crime needed a punishment and the other being that punishments were too harsh and were not always fair as you may lose your life even when innocent.
