During the Easter break we had the pond area refurbished. We are delighted with the results and so are the pupils. The frogs and newts were returned to the pond and we have even seen ducks nesting. The children have loved going down to look and one pupil told me it was, “5 star.” We look forward to utilising this fabulous resource to increase the children’s understanding of life cycles, pond life and how to be ‘steward’s of God’s creations’, as well as developing their investigative skills.
