Celebrating Books!

This week OLOV celebrated our love of reading.  The entire school community came together to share stories and their favourite quotes and characters from books read.  They took part in speaking and listening activities and some quizzes and competitions too.  On Wednesday we held our 'dress up' day with some fabulous characters present in our building (check out some of the photos below). 

Encouraging reading for pleasure is important to learning and the children embraced this idea enthusiastically.  A huge thank you to staff, parents and children for their participation in making this week a success.
