Year 1 and 2 learned the story of The Visitation. They read the scripture and thought about the importance of mothers in our lives. They looked at images of the Visitation from different countries and used them to create their own. They sent invitations to their mothers, and all the women who are important in their lives, inviting them to school for a special blessing. Our mothers came in to work with us and then Fr Liam blessed them all. Our mothers brought in gifts for a mother who might not get a Christmas present. It was a very special occasion.
